Marcel Menard Hybrid Rhododendron in 17cm Pot
Your Rhododendron plant will arrive pre-planted in a 17cm pot and packed in specially designed protective packaging to ensure it's in top condition when you receive it. All you need to do is remove it from the box, give it a good dose of water and leave to 'rest' for 1-2 days in a sheltered spot. Carefully remove from pot before planting and make sure the hole is deep and wide enough to fit the entire root ball without bending or breaking the roots. Water-in after planting. Like all Rhododendrons, this variety is ideal for bringing plenty of bold colour to your garden in late spring and early summer. This large variety is ideal if you have a big gap to fill in your garden, whether in borders or a large container. Marcel Mernad is a fantastic hybrid with stiking violet flowers during late spring and early summer. Aside from the wonderful flowers, you can enjoy it's dense evergreen presence in the garden all year round. Prefers acid/ericaceous soil, however if you do not have acid soil naturally in your garden, Rhododendrons are perfectly suitable for container planting in ericaeous compost. Viburnum Tinus - 17cm Pot
Supplied in a 17cm pot. Your Viburnum plant will arrive pre-planted in a 17cm pot and packed in specially designed protective packaging to ensure it's in top condition when you receive it. All you need to do is remove it from the box, give it a good dose of water and leave to 'rest' for 1-2 days in a sheltered spot. Carefully remove from pot before planting and make sure the hole is deep and wide enough to fit the entire root ball without bending or breaking the roots. Water-in after planting. This Japanese species is a popular shrub, noted for the wonderful fragrance of its soft pink spring flowers, and its good autumn colour. This a good, reliable shrub with a bushy dense habit, making a fantastic structural feature or screen after a few years. Plants are free-flowering, with large heads of red flowers, which first turn pink and then white. The rounded felty leaves are tinted deep purple when they first emerge, then turn deep greean in the summer and turn brilliant golden orange in autumn. Viburnum Tinus is relatively maintenance free so it's perfect for leaving to it's own devices. Only after a good few years when it becomes very dense is a good time to prune out some of the older or dead wood, but still isn't essential. Grows in any soil, sun or shade.

Common box is a vigorous, evergreen, bushy, upright shrub with small, rounded glossy dark green leaves. Its dense habit makes it ideal for hedging or screening and it can be closely clipped into different shapes. An excellent plant to make into topiary as you can leave a smart finish after trimming. It's best to choose the dwarf form of this shrub for low hedging to create a knot or parterre. Grows in any soil and fully frost hardy. Clip twice a year when needed to keep its shape.
