Cycas revoluta - Palm Tree - 3L Pot

Supplied in a 3ltr Pot. Your Cycas plant will arrive pre-planted in a 3ltr pot and packed in specially designed protective packaging to ensure it's in top condition when you receive it. All you need to do is remove it from the box, give it a good dose of water and leave to 'rest' for 1-2 days in a sheltered spot. Carefully remove from pot before planting and make sure the hole is deep and wide enough to fit the entire root ball without bending or breaking the roots. Water-in after planting. The Cycas isn't fully frost-hardy but can withstand mild winters in sheltered gardens where frosts aren't too harsh without protection. Alternatively you could wrap it in horticultural fleece for the coldest months to prevent any frost damage, or bring indoors for the winter if planted in a container. The beauty of palms such as Cycas, is their low maintenance requirements. Every once in a while the outer leaves may start to turn yellow, but this can simply be cut off at the base of the leaf stem to make space for new growth emerging from the centre. Prefers drought to over-watering, watering is only required in very hot weather on occasions.
