Your Azalea plants will arrive pre-planted in 11cm pots and packed in specially designed protective packaging to ensure they're in top condition when you receive them. All you need to do is remove them from the box, give it a good dose of water and leave to 'rest' for 1-2 days in a sheltered spot. Carefully remove from pot before planting and make sure the hole is deep and wide enough to fit the entire root ball without bending or breaking the roots. Water-in after planting. Azaleas form masses of gorgeous, bright semi-double in late spring and early summer, and small, dark green leaves. This compact, evergreen azalea is perfect for a shrub border with humus-rich, acid soil. They are related to the rhododendron but not so vigorous or large leaved. Azaleas look great planted together with varying colours, or just as stunning on their own or with other shrubs. Providing such a colourful display, Azaleas remain unrivalled by any other spring-flowering shrub. They do not need much sun and can be grown near or even under trees .
